[SciPy-user] array2string

Wouldn't it be convenient when Numeric's ArrayPrinter.array2string would
allow for indentation and be defined as

def array2string(a, max_line_width = None, precision = None,
                     suppress_small = None, separator=' ',
                     array_output=0,
                     base_indent=0, indent_first=1     # NEW
		):

rather than

def array2string(a, max_line_width = None, precision = None,
                     suppress_small = None, separator=' ',
                     array_output=0
		):

Internally, it calls _arrayToString anywith with default indentation
arguments however, rather then letting them be user specified.

BTW: Perhaps this is the wrong list --- I'm not aware however of a
dedicate Numeric mailing list.
