Does the phrase  'woot!' mean anything to you?

        lib_dirs = self.get_lib_dirs()

        lapack_libs = self.get_libs('lapack_libs',['alapack_r'])

The other patch I needed to get scipy to build under
FreeBSD was to remove references to the arctanh_data,
arccosh_data, and arcsinh_data from
scipy_core/scipy_base/fastumath_unsigned.inc

Should I post complete patches here, or create a FreeBSD
ports problem report?
