[SciPy-user] use of blas routines in scipy 0.4.4

I'm having a bit of trouble using a blas function in scipy-0.4.4. I've tested
the following script with version 0.3.2 and Numeric, which works, and 0.4.4
and numpy which gives me an error.

# For scipy-0.4.4 with numpy-0.9.4.1971
from scipy.lib.blas import get_blas_funcs
from numpy import array
# For scipy-0.3.2, with Numeric-24.2:
##from Numeric import array
##from scipy.linalg.blas import get_blas_funcs

a = array([[1,1,1]])
b=array([[1],[1],[1]])

dot, = get_blas_funcs(['gemm',], (a,b), debug=1)
res = dot(1, a, b)
print res

Here's the error:

dgemm:n=1
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "blasdot.py", line 12, in ?
    res = dot(1, a, b)
fblas.error: (trans_b?kb==k:ldb==k) failed for hidden n

Is there a bug, or am I not aware of some important change?

Thanks,
Darren
