This looks like the error that used to be present in older versions of
scipy.  Are you sure you are running the latest version?

It works here, with

In [17]: numpy.__version__
Out[17]: '1.0rc1.dev3131'

In [18]: scipy.__version__
Out[18]: '0.5.2.dev2190'
