[SciPy-user] strange interaction between scipy.stats and scipy.optimize.minpack

I recompiled everything from scratch but I still get the seg fault.
I'm using python 2.4.4, numpy 1.0.4 and scipy 0.6 compiled with GCC
ver. 4.1.2 on an amd64 box. I'll wait until the packages get updated
in my distro (gentoo) and I'll check it again. Thank you for the
feedback;.
