[SciPy-user] openopt: which NLP solver?
Fri Jan 25 12:09:04 CST 2008
This works on gutsy 7.10
0) mkdir openopt
1) svn co http://svn.scipy.org/svn/scikits/trunk/openopt openopt
svn co http://svn.scipy.org/svn/scikits/trunk/delaunay delaunay
( note the 'svn' in the url, not //scipy.org/scipy/.. )
2) sudo apt-get install python-setuptools
3) sudo python setup.py install
from scikits.openopt import *

Try using "python setup.py", it must ask you what to do (cho0se install)
and destination (choose your own)
This is a known issue that dmitrey _must_ fix when he has time. The issue shows up because a lot of paths are added to sys.path, Robert already gave him the solution.
