You don't: Newton's equations for e.g. a coupled mass system are 
autonomous (have no explicit dependence on time). In a form where you can 
use odeint, they read

	dx/dt = v(t)
	dv/dt = F(x(t)) / m

Check your a math textbook or Wikipedia for more information about ODEs.
