[Numpy-discussion] Fwd: [matplotlib-devel] standard abbreviation for pyplot or pylab?

I just realized that this discussion was only on the matplotlib
mailing list.  Basically, they were clarifying that the import
statement for pylab should be:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
