It's not *quite* as bad as that. There are a lot of keys in
sys.modules that point to None as an optimization (e.g. if foo/bar.py
imports math, let's say, the import system will look up foo.math,
which fails, so sys.modules['foo.math'] = None so it doesn't try that

Here is the correct way to measure that:
