#1267: Sparse matrix operations crash python interpreter
 Reporter:  lutz         |       Owner:  somebody
     Type:  enhancement  |      Status:  new
 Priority:  low          |   Milestone:  0.9.0

Changes (by lutz):

  * priority:  normal => low
  * type:  defect => enhancement

 Based on the backtrace, it seems like there is a very deep recursion
 occurring in array_dealloc, which might exhaust the stack. Indeed,
 changing the stack size to 32 megabytes (using ulimit -s) keeps the
 interpreter from crashing.

 Since this isn't really a bug in SciPy, I have changed the status of this
 ticket to a proposed enhancement: implement a more stack-friendly method
 to deallocate such objects.
