 Not at all, I think you misunderstood me: by ifft in my latter function, I
 meant the "outermost" ifft (not ifftw) in scipy, which is the one, by your
 very admission, divides by n before returning its result; I didn't mean
 the abstract unnormalized ifft(w?).  So, if by ifft I meant the divided-
 by-n version, then the unnormalized version would be n*that, and dividing
 that result by root-n is equivalent to multiplying the divided-by-n
 version by root-n.
