#1072: scipy.interpolate.interp2d ignores fill_value keyword

     Type:  defect             |      Status:  new

Component:  scipy.interpolate  |     Version:  0.8.0

 I assume a related issue is with {{{bounds_error}}} setting. For example
 (using same as above):
 g = interpolate.interp2d(x,y,z,kind="linear",bounds_error=True)
 print g
 does not raise an "error", as we should expect from the documentation.

 Furthermore, could the documentation be more specific as to the ''name''
 of the exception class raised by the error? (e.g., if I'm catching this
 exception, what is the name?)
