#1600: Zeta function definition is wrong
 Reporter:  ignitionweb    |       Owner:  pv
     Type:  defect         |      Status:  new
 Priority:  high           |   Milestone:  Unscheduled
Component:  scipy.special  |     Version:
 Keywords:  zeta           |

Comment(by warren.weckesser):

 At worst, this is a documentation problem. The function computed by
 scipy.special.zeta is called the Hurwitz zeta function on wikipedia. The
 docstring for scipy.special.zeta should probably say that it is sometimes
 called the Hurwitz zeta function, and that it coincides with the (single
 argument) Riemann zeta function when q=1.
