Comment(by rgommers):

 The {{{IndexError}}} and {{{ValueError}}} test errors are due to an issue
 in numpy, which should be solved before the numpy 1.7.0 release.
 Furthermore you only have some {{{RuntimeWarnings}}} which get turned into
 errors, and one overflow issue. The overflow issue seems real, I've not
 seen it before on other platforms or with Accelerate. Overflow behavior
 should be IEEE754 compliant AFAIK, for more details you could ask on the
 numpy list. The {{{RuntimeWarnings}}} don't get converted into errors for
 released versions of numpy (can be toggled in numpy's {{{NoseTester}}}, so
 most of those won't be actual problems.

 All in all I'd say you've come further than anyone else so far on OS X
 10.8. It would probably be quite helpful for others to document what you
 did. And to understand what steps fixed what issue. Do you think
 patching gfortran was important by the way? We normally recommend to
 install gfortran from http://r.research.att.com/tools/, which has never
 given any issues.

 The {{{TestDoubleIFFT}}} issue seems like it needs looking into by someone
 who knows that code.
