I reran with today's svn and confirm that I no longer see this on OSX 
10.3.9. How recently was this fixed in svn? I recall seeing the 
failure within the last 2 weeks or so.

I looked through the output Chris Fonnesbeck sent me and he gets this 
on OSX 10.4.?, gcc 4.0.
