Yes, you're right there was a patch, and I missed it (as an aside, I do
recommend contributing patches to the Trac and not the mailing list so that we
don't lose track of them). My only concern is that adding extra_compile_args to
work around one compiler's bug may interfere with other compilers.

As for the extra_postargs fix, I have no objection to it, but it's possible
Pearu did that intentionally.
