Scientific tools for Python

I'm pleased to announce the release of SciPy 0.4.6.  This release
adds support for the latest NumPy (version 0.9.5), features
a new maximum entropy package, improved spline evaluation, and
various bug fixes for signaltools, sparse matrices, weave,
conjugate gradients, and more.

It is available for download from


as a source tarball for Linux/Solaris/OS X/BSD/Windows (64-bit and
32-bit) and as an executable installer for Win32.

contains a variety of high-level science and engineering modules,
