[SciPy-User] brentq and brenth

It would seem more logical to call brentq "brentp" ("p" for parabola) to follow the same pattern as "brenth" ("h" for hyperbola).  
Unless there is an inside joke to use "q" because it is "p" reflected about a vertical axis, and hence represents Brent's "inverse parabolic" estimate of the root?
